Lightning: We Signed a Memorandum of Understanding Establishing a Roadmap in Various Areas at the Turkey-Oman JEC Meeting

The Minister of Treasury and Finance, Mehmet Şimşek, stated that he signed a memorandum of understanding, which outlines a roadmap in various areas such as trade, investment, industry, tourism, transportation, and agriculture, during the Turkey-Oman Joint Economic Commission meeting. In a statement from his X account, Şimşek said, "We agreed on speeding up the planned free trade agreement between Turkey and the Gulf Cooperation Council." He also noted, "We had productive meetings with representatives from the private sectors of both countries to evaluate investment and trade opportunities."
