Environmental Impact Assessment Process Initiated for Camish Mining's Quartz Sand Quarry Area and Production Capacity Expansion Project

The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process has begun for the Quartz Sand Quarry Area and Production Capacity Increase project planned by Camiş Mining.

In a statement released on the website of the General Directorate of Environmental Impact Assessment, Permit, and Audit, the following information was provided:

"The site with license number IR: 41083 (ER: 2317131), located in Bilecik province, Bilecik central district, Bayırköy town, Sarmaşık village, with an area of 22.12 hectares, regards the Quartz Sand Quarry Area and Production Capacity Increase project planned by Camiş Mining A.Ş. The P.T.D. file submitted to our Bilecik Governorship has been examined in accordance with Article 16 of the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulation, and the EIA process for the project has commenced."
