Japan's Crude Steel Production Declined by 3.1% Year-on-Year in November
Forex - Japan's crude steel production in November saw a decrease of 3.1% compared to the same month last year. According to data released by the Japan Iron and Steel Federation (JISF), production declined by 0.5% from the previous month, totaling 6,887,800 tons. The production of hot-rolled steel products fell by 2.4% month-on-month and 5.6% year-on-year, reaching 5,995,800 tons. Pig iron production decreased by 1.2% month-on-month and 0.4% year-on-year, totaling 5,012,000 tons. The production of electric arc furnace facilities decreased by 1.4% month-on-month and 10.9% year-on-year, reaching 1,789,200 tons.
