Global Crude Steel Production Increased by 0.8% in November, 0.7% in Turkey
According to Worldsteel, global crude steel production reached 146.8 million tons in November, marking a 0.8% increase compared to the same month last year.
Data released by Worldsteel indicates that China, the world's largest steel producer, saw its crude steel production rise by 2.5% to 78.4 million tons, making it the most influential producer in the global increase.
In the same month, India’s production increased by 4.5% to 12.4 million tons, while Japan's output fell by 3.1% to 6.9 million tons. The United States experienced a 2.8% decrease, producing 6.4 million tons, Russia's production declined by 9.2% to 5.5 million tons, South Korea’s output decreased by 3.6% to 5.2 million tons, and Germany's production increased by 8.6% to 2.9 million tons.
Turkey's production saw a 0.7% increase, reaching 3.0 million tons.
-First 11 Months- In the first 11 months of the year, global crude steel production rose by 0.8% to 1 billion 694.6 million tons.
During this period, production in China decreased by 2.7% to 929.2 million tons, while India reported a 5.9% increase to 135.9 million tons.
Turkey's production surged by 11.2%, ranking among the countries with the highest proportional increase, bringing its output to 33.9 million tons.
