Oil Transported Through Pipelines in Turkey Increased by 2.5% in November
In November, the amount of crude oil transported through pipelines in Turkey increased by 2.5% compared to the previous month. According to data available on BOTAŞ's website, the oil flow from four pipelines reached 28 million 472 thousand barrels in November, up from 27 million 776 thousand barrels in October.
There are five crude oil pipelines running through Turkey: Iraq-Turkey, Ceyhan-Kırıkkale, Batman-Dörtyol, Dörtyol-Ceylan, and BTC. However, there has been no oil flow from the Iraq-Turkey pipeline for over two years.
In November, the amount of oil received from BTC rose from 19 million 20 thousand barrels in October to 20 million 116 thousand barrels. The Ceyhan-Kırıkkale line carried 2 million 661 thousand barrels, the Batman-Dörtyol line transported 3 million 31 thousand barrels, and the Dörtyol-Ceylan line delivered 2 million 664 thousand barrels of oil.
During the first 11 months of the year, the Ceyhan-Kırıkkale line accounted for 30 million 607 thousand barrels, the Batman-Dörtyol line for 31 million 784 thousand barrels, the Dörtyol-Ceylan line for 30 million 429 thousand barrels, and the BTC line for 204 million 61 thousand barrels, totaling 296 million 881 thousand barrels of oil flow.
