Market Outlook: Stock Exchange Starts the Week with Better-than-Expected Gains

The BIST 100 index started the day with an increase of 32.11 points, reaching 9756.61 points. According to the Foreks News survey, the BIST 100 index was expected to start the day with a 22.27 point increase. The closest prediction in the survey for the BIST 100 index opening was made by Marbaş Menkul/Aziz Kaçmaz with 33.0 points. The second closest prediction in the survey was made by Marbaş Menkul/Ali Tozlu with 29.28 points. The third closest prediction in the survey was made by Anadolu Yatırım/Mertkan Beşyıldız with 28.56 points. Today, 48 analysts from brokerage firms participated in the Foreks News BIST 100 index closing survey; 40 analysts predicted a positive closing, while 8 analysts made negative closing predictions.
