The EIA Process Begins for Aksa Energy's Tokur Storage-based Solar Power Project
The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process for the Tokur storage solar power project planned by Aksa Energy (IS:AKSEN) has begun.
In a statement on the website of the General Directorate of Environmental Impact Assessment Permits and Supervision, the following information was provided: "The EIA Application File submitted to our Ministry regarding the TOKUR STORAGE SOLAR POWER PLANT (Installed Power: 50 MWm/50 MWe, Storage Installed Power: 50 MWh, 74.64 Ha) planned to be constructed by AKSA RENEWABLE ENERGY PRODUCTION INC. at the location of 3899 Parcel, Aydınlı Neighborhood, Sivrihisar District, Eskişehir Province has been examined in accordance with Article 8 of the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulation. It has been determined that the application has been prepared in accordance with the EIA General Format, and the EIA process for the project has been initiated. Until the Environmental Impact Assessment process is completed, any information related to the process and views, questions, and suggestions regarding the project can be sent to the Eskişehir Governorship (Provincial Directorate of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change) or the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change."
