Marmarabirlik to Disburse 359 Million TL to Shareholders on December 20

Foreks - Marmarabirlik will make a payment of 359 million TL to its shareholders on Friday, December 20, 2024 (tomorrow), as 50% of the product payments delivered between November 30 and December 13. Shareholders will be able to receive their fourth tranche payments from Ziraat Bank ATMs. Since the beginning of the campaign, Marmarabirlik has purchased 50 thousand tons of products, and with this payment, a total of 1 billion 241 million TL will have been paid to the shareholders.

Hidamet Asa, the Chairman of the Board, stated that the 2024/2025 product purchase campaign is ongoing vigorously and that producers are delivering their products to cooperatives without any issues. Asa indicated that they are making efforts to ensure that olive producers receive the rewards for their labor and hard work during this challenging year, which has witnessed the highest yields in the history of the Republic. The Chairman of the Board, Hidamet Asa, mentioned that Marmarabirlik will purchase 66 thousand tons of products in the 2024/2025 campaign, stating, "Marmarabirlik has not incurred any losses since 2010. We have always stood by our partners and supported them. Together with the Board of Directors, the General Directorate, our employees, and our business partners, I believe we will navigate this difficult year smoothly."

A total of 50 thousand tons of products have been purchased so far. As of today, the purchase figures for the 8 cooperatives affiliated with Marmarabirlik are as follows: Gemlik Cooperative - 4,153 tons, Mudanya - 12,047 tons, Erdek - 6,025 tons, Orhangazi - 4,169 tons, İznik - 12,630 tons, Edincik - 7,365 tons, Mürefte - 3,146 tons, and Marmara Island - 190 tons, reaching a total of 50 thousand tons.
